Internet World here we come…!
So my blog has been unloved for a bit. But that is because we have been so busy getting sorted for Internet World 2007 next week.
After being prodded to write something, I will now write something suitable for my blog.
So what is Internet World? Well, it’s a place that allows people to find out more about the really cool Internet stuff that is out there. We’ll be there and wait till you see our stand!
We’ve got a bit of a theme going and from the blogs that we add next week, you’ll be able to see what I mean.
Also, our very own Alexander Craig, will be talking about the newly launched Clothes Online 2007 usability benchmarking report that we have just completed. He’ll be talking on Tuesday 1st May at 2pm in the Digital Marketing Theatre. Look who has sponsored it too!
And if you pass by on Thursday 3rd May, our stand will have something very special on it too…
More next week from the hub of Internet World!!

Internet World 2007 — it rocked! Seriously. Hell, we\’ve even booked our stand for next year already *;o)
What was good? Simple, 3 things:
1) The venue, Earls court is great and just the right size to have a buzz without being so big or crushed you couldn\’t make sense of it;
2) The focus, it was about making the Internet actually work for business — adding value and solving problems rather than simply worshiping at the alter of technology — which was backed up by some great topical seminars in the various theatres (oh how nice not to just have back-to-back product demos, *yawn*);
3) The people, we\’re talking real buyers, decision makers and managers, i.e. an audience that want to be, and we want as, clients (rather than the usual band of geeks and students who just want to clean you out of freebies);
This was a great mix. It works for us as exhibitors and for everyone visiting. You got a real sense of people doing business. opportunities being created and problems being solved. I loved it.
Oh, and everyone telling us we had the coolest stand at the show also helped *;o) Moo! See you next year… if not before.
